Fire Alarm Code 3
- An automatic fire alarm system is designed to detect the unwanted presence of fire by monitoring environmental changes associated with combustion. In general, a fire alarm system is either classified as automatically actuated, manually actuated, or both.
- A device making a loud noise that gives warning of a fire
- a shout or bell to warn that fire has broken out
- an alarm that is tripped off by fire or smoke

- Often heard, as: “Respond code 3.” Means: Lights and Siren. The dispatcher is directing the deputy to respond to the call with lights and siren turned on. Typically used in emergency situations.
- Emergency call using siren and red light
- Hot wheels (or any other die cast car) modified by and packaged by others than the manufacturer. These are offered in some quantity and are not one of a kind. Many M&D Toys and Club cars are examples of Code 3.

This is my curio cabinet with nearly 200 Code 3′s. Please note the custom LED lighting, done entirely by myself and a special addition of wood for the nails to hold the FDNY Rescue patches. This curio is 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide. I’m very proud.
